- Esplanade Art and Craft Market going since 1969, held every Sunday, showcasing over 200 stalls featuring paintings, pottery, glass, jewellery, clothes, leather goods and homewares.
- St Kilda foreshore offers great swimming beaches, parks, playgrounds and bike tracks.
- Walk down St Kilda pier to Kirby's Kiosk, a restored turn of the century tearoom.
- Luna Park, the symbol of St Kilda since 1912. Luna Park's motto 'Just For Fun' has some great rides such as the, Scenic Railway offering fantastic views of the beach and surrounds.
- The St Kilda Sea Baths is the great white building complex, located on the St Kilda foreshore near St Kilda pier boasts a great public swimming pool & gymnasium facilities and numerous cafes and restaurants facing the beach. Great to kick back and relax or dine al fresco along the foreshore and watch a glorious sunset.

- Fitzroy St is great for dining alfresco at the endless variety of bars, cafes and restaurants - visit some longstanding favourites, Tolarno's, Cafe Di Stasio, Monroe's, Leo's Spaghetti Bar or The Street Cafe to name a few.
- Acland St is famous for its continental cakes, shopping such as book stores, music shops, fish shops, clothing boutiques, and gift shops, which makes for another favourite food & fashion strip.
- The Esplanade Hotel, built in 1880 this marvellous hotel is the musical and artistic heart and soul of St Kilda and the best-known pub in Melbourne. The 'Espy' as it is affectionately referred to by locals, provides a unique grungy atmosphere with lively entertainment such as free live bands, comedy nights, and a great feed from the 'Espy Kitchen'.
